Each student receives an ID card for Monte Vista High School. ID cards include bar codes used for textbooks, library, tech items, food service and student events. ID cards are created during Stampede Day (10-12 graders) on August 7th and Orientation Day (9th graders) on August 8th. The decision about which ID card best meets your student's needs is therefore made before Stampede Day. 

Why purchase a card? Students can receive benefits with different levels of ID cards. Please discuss with your student before making this selection.

1.  ID Card - Simple ID - This choice is FREE TO ALL STUDENTS. Students will need their ID cards for a variety of reasons, including checking out textbooks and library books. All students must have a student ID. Picture packets can be purchased through Creative Imaging.  
2.  ID Card with ASB Activity Seal Sticker - includes FREE ADMISSION to regular season MV home football and basketball games and includes discounts for other MV dances and events and local stores.   
3.  ID Card with ASB AND Yearbook - offers all the benefits of the ID Card with ASB sticker, and you also save $10 on the yearbook. ($10 savings)   
4. Senior Gold Card - offers all of the benefits of the ASB sticker and yearbook card AND adds discounted pricing for Senior events. Only students listed as a current 12th grade student can purchase this option.
