Academic Boosters - FUND NEXT YEAR, TODAY - MORE CLASSES For 2026/2027 During Our Spring Campaign

Monte Vista Academic Boosters (MVAB) is a parent-led nonprofit dedicated to supporting academic excellence at Monte Vista High School. Your annual tax deductible donation to MVAB directly enhances the quality and breadth of your student’s education and helps make the exceptional academic experience at Monte Vista possible.

Your Donations Help Fund Additional Class Sections*
Each year, MVAB funds approximately 18 additional class sections, which allows the school to:

Expand course offerings and academic opportunities
Create smaller class sizes
Provide more personalized instruction that supports diverse learning styles

*A class section is one class taught during one period for the full school year.

Your Donations Also Fund

Additional hours for the College and Career Advisor, bringing the position to full-time status
The Honor Roll Program, which recognizes students who earn a 3.5 GPA or higher each semester and provides honor cords to eligible seniors at graduation
Educational grants, including past funding for laptops as well as equipment for the forensic science program

Donation Information

Suggested donation: $650 per student (every contribution makes a difference!)
Easy online giving via Future Fund, with the option to split your donation into two monthly installments
Why should I donate in spring 2026? Donations received by May 9 directly impact programs and staffing for the 2026-2027 school year, which is especially important for families of rising seniors
- Current 8th grade families: give now to make an immediate impact on your student’s freshman year. Parents of current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors: if you did not donate in fall 2025, please contribute now to support your student’s 2026–2027 academic experience
- Families who participate in the spring 2026 campaign do not need to donate again in the fall of 2026 since they will have already donated for the 2026-2027 school year

Double your donation! Academic Boosters counts on employer matching to fund approximately 1.5 class sections each year. Many businesses in our area have a generous matching gifts policy so we encourage you to check with your employer.
