September 11, 2025 - College Essay Writing Class - for SENIORS only

Discover what makes a strong and successful college application essay. In this workshop, students will brainstorm ideas, learn key strategies, and receive guidance from a professional. The session is designed to help students begin the essay-writing process with confidence—no preparation required. This class is for Seniors only.

          Location: Library, Workday Student Center.
          Deadline to register: Wednesday, September 10th by 11:55 p.m.

Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. If your student is unable to attend the essay workshop after they've registered, we thank you for your donation to support the Monte Vista Academic Boosters.

 About the Instructor
Stacy Kadesh, from Stacy Kadesh and Associates College Consulting, will present an introductory course to the college essay and personal statement. During this course, we will cover what not to do, how to approach various types of prompts, and how to make your essay sound like your best, authentic self. This course is designed for students who are just starting the essay process, those who have already begun writing, and those who think they are “finished” with their essays.
