The Peer Counseling class is a student-run program with a mission to improve campus culture by training the students to provide emotional support to their peers. During the training, Peer Counselors will learn the most effective ways to assist students with the struggles or questions they may have about the emotional ups and downs of life as a teen. Once trained, they offer one-on-one conversations, present knowledge and skills to peers in classes, and provide Peer Intervention Education for substance abuse. Donations will be used for consumables and materials used for training, program promotion, and setting the therapeutic environment in the classroom.
